After tuning, I played a few licks, and it sounds better than anything I was shown at the local music stores at five times the price. I have already showed it to the luthier her in town and to my son's violin teacher (one of the Suzuki instructors) they both loved the craftsmanship and the beautiful sound of the instrument. Hello Chris, Well the violin arrived on time and in perfect order. The 7 day trial period has come and gone and I could not be happier. I have played it extensively and my instructor really put it through it's paces. As a professional player and teacher, he was extremely impressed with the sound and quality of the instrument. He said he now knows a reliable source to send his students to for their violins. What more can I say? I am completely satisfied. Thanks again for all the help and information before the purchase. Hi Chris! My new violin arrived a few days ago,and I'm delighted! It's gorgeous to look at, to play, and to hear. I'm especially happy with the deep, mellow sounds of the D and G strings. These are the exact qualities I was looking for! This is the first new violin I've had, and it's a honey! The sound quality is already superb, and I'm excited to think it will get even better the more the instrument is played. I had family members over the day before yesterday,and they all agreed the violin sounds wonderful. I'm going to enjoy playing it for many years to come.
