Dear Chris- Oh wow ... where to begin... Just spectacular!!! I went to UPS at 8 am to pick up the violin; and, we couldn't wait to open it the box. So we went to the car and stood in the cool morning air and opened at UPS LOL. As we opened the box I could see the excitement in my sons eyes... As I opened it, the beauty of the violin was silhouetted by the sun... I smiled as I saw Lex slowly take the violin out of the case as though he was touching a precious gem... Truly - lovely... such craftsmanship... We immediately made our way to school. His violin teacher was waiting, as he was apprised we were picking up the violin before school. The teacher opened the case and drew it up to his chin, tuned it and played a lovely little improv... He smiled and stated "one of the most beautiful student violins I have seen for the price... " Oh my ... we are tickled pink!!! I am so happy that we chose a Gliga Vasile violin. Lex came home this evening and practiced without tape; without any issues... My parents gave Lex this violin as a gift to remember them by... so that when he looks at his 3/4 size when he is an adult, he will remember his pop-pop and mom-mom with a smile remembering the day he received his first violin. I thank you for the beautiful violin and the talent that Gliga Vasile was graced with. We will be in touch in order to choose a full size when Lex is ready. Warmest wishes to you and family always. Jackie Goodstal and Lex too...

Dear Chris, The Gama masterpiece has arrived, and I am not exaggerating when I tell you that I couldn't be happier with it! It is even better than I hoped it would be, so warm and rich straight out of the (very nicely packed) shipping container. The workmanship, and such gorgeous wood... A little tuning, and without even my customary shoulder rest, I sounded better than I ever have. I'm still very much an intermediate player, and your violin makes me feel like I can truly make music. What makes this experience even more special is that this violin is a 50th birthday gift (wow, I'm old...) from my parents, who wanted to give me something truly meaningful. They asked me to find a violin Even through the phone tonight, my Mom could hear the pretty sound. I'm taking it over to their house this weekend so they can meet their "grand-violin" in person (and so I can properly thank my patrons). Please know that if I ever have the opportunity to send business your way, I will very happily do so. As they used to say in the old days, "I am at your service, Sir..." With many thanks and best regards, Kate Q. Proud New Caretaker of #3447 P.S. - And now the fun part: I have to think of a name! :-)

I just wanted you to know I just received my new Gliga cello. It is beautiful. I am awe struck. I expected nice but not this nice. The quality of the instrument and the bow is impeccable, and I am also so surprised at how nice the case is. What a wonderful purchase!! I recently found a local private cello teacher here in St. Louis and hope to continue my studies as soon as possible with this gorgeous instrument. I will tell my musician friends about your fine company. Thank you for the great service. I am thrilled with my new cello. John E. Harper

Dear Vasile, thank you for this magical left-handed violin which sings lullabyes even with a complete beginner player such as myself. Dear Chris, thank you for setting up this violin so perfectly, & ensuring that it left your gallery packaged & labeled in such a way that it arrived to me in our little country town in Australia quickly & in perfect condition. You are genuine masters. Everyone who visits my home is shown your good work, & this violin is not an idle ornament, it is alive and singing. Best wishes and again thank you. Ida Wilson.

Hello, I have just received my new "GEMS 2" (#B2607), and just wanted to tell you how happy I am with my new violin. The workmanship, attention to detail, and tone far surpassed my expectations of a voilin at this price point. Thank you for allowing me to purchase a fine, handcrafted violin that will be cherished from generation to generation. Sincerely, John M. Seyring.

Dear Sir/ Madam, I received the violin today - Antiqued 4/4 MAESTRO Gliga violin made by Cristian Gliga (A9392) - and have played to see and hear what it sounds like and the violin sounds great to me. The tone is full and quite mature for a violin that was made in 2008. I am more than impressed by the craftmanship and the way the violin has been hand-made and the beautiful way that the wood looks with a brownish varnish which I like. The sound and tone responds well and difficult violin passages seem easy to play and the tone is sweet and quite loud when it needs to be. I like the lower end sounds and the higher notes on the E string respond adequately. Thank you very much and I am sure that the violin shall develop further with age and playing. I will look after the instrument as I am a trained violinist and started playing from a young age. I believe that Gliga violins are in the same league as any Stradivarius when these were made two centuries ago. All the best wishes, Sincerely, Andrej Kowal, Bradford, United Kingdom

Chris, Just a few additional comments on the Gliga I purchased last August -- it's turning out to be a truly wonderful instrument... and it's now starting to really open up! Each day that passes, it's getting richer and warmer... and I truly love it. My violin teacher owns instruments valued at over $100,000. He did put a different bridge on my Gliga -- and moved the soundpost just a bit. He also suggested I use Infield Titanium strings... but other than that, he says it is a fine instrument... and that he can see no reason why I should need to upgrade in the near future, perhaps not ever... So I thought I'd pass along my thoughts -- do know that I am passing the Gliga name along with praise... and if I ever do upgrade, it will more than likely be in the Gliga family!

Hello Chris, This past weekend I had the chance to play Ave Maria on my left-handed (Guarneri) maestro and it was sheer delight to play such a beautiful sounding and looking instrument, I will cherish this violin for life. It has a richer sound that projects more than the Gem-1 model and the color tone of the maestro appears to glow under natural light as it shows off the wonderful grain. I have named my two left-handed violins, the Gem-1 is used for practicing and call it "Defiant" and the Gliga Maestro will only be used for select music pieces and I call it "IL Rapimento (The Rapture)". I cannot express enough, how thankful I am that Gliga Violins makes such a high quality maestro left-handed violin. Thank you to the entire staff at Glida Violins world-wide. Thanks, Brian (beginner left-handed violinist)

Chris, I've recieved my new Gama (A9679) and I want to let you know that it is wonderful. The sound is complex and I would describe it as 'delicious' like a fine wine. I am confident that this one will age wonderfully and grow with me for years. Please pass on my compliments to Vasile and his crew back in Romania. They can be proud of their work. All the best, Chuck Pederson

Hello Chris, My Gems 1 arrived last Thursday and today I had my instructor evaluate the instrument. It is a winner! She really likes it and so do I. You helped me decide between 2 violins and I selected A9420. It is beautifully made and finished. It sounds terrific. The case, bow and rosin included are also of high quality. Your company offers a fine instrument at an affordable price. Thank you. Best Regards, Marty Welt
