Just to let you know that we received the 3/4 Maestro Gliga Violin about a week ago. Firstly the packaging was excellent and the violin was in perfect condition! Secondly, it is an absolutely amazing violin! My son has been playing it a lot. He took it to his School- Trinity college in Western Australia. They have a very good strings program of which he is a part of. His teacher absolutely loved it! The more he plays it, the better it gets! It has such a clear warm sound. He has played it at school in his strings program, also in his Orchestra practice outside of school and finally he went busking with it last weekend and did extremely well! We would like to thank you for your expertise and total honesty in sending us a truly magical and much loved instrument. This is the third violin we have ordered from you, plus my two friends have also ordered from you here in Perth. We have all been extremely happy and would definitely recommend you in the future! Cristian, I just wanted to thank you for my recent violin purchase (B8025). I appreciate the attention to detail that has gone into this instrument. The wood that was used and fit and finish was especially beautiful. I am very happy with it. I was so excited when I recieved it that I called Maria. I ask to speak with you, but she told me that you were on your way to Romania. The set up on the violin made playing easier. The string spacing, radius of the bridge, and height of the strings at the nut and at the end of the fingerboard all contributed to this. I have researched the area of Rheign, Romania. Dear Violin Place, My name is Karen Kulzer; I recently purchased a 4/4 left-handed violin from your online store. I want to let you know that I am extremely pleased with the violin! This violin is so much better than the first violin that I started on (an older German-made model that was "converted" to a lefty and therefore not a true left-handed instrument). My new Gliga has a beautiful tone and is very comfortable to hold and play. I'm a professional pianist and teacher, and this is my first time taking lessons for the violin.....so I really appreciate how important good technique and how good (or bad) craftsmanship of your practice instrument can really affect the learning process. I'm looking forward to many years of enjoyment with my Gliga violin-- thanks for making left-handed instruments available and for building them so well! Karen
Hi! I am just giving you guys feed back on the Genova 3 Violin I bought a while back! I just wanted to let you guys know that this violin is absolutely amazing! It is a one of a kind! When I was looking for a good violin I could take to school my budget was around $600. I was expecting an okay instrument instead I got an awesome one! I was so surprised by the great quality you guys were selling for such a low price! I have been telling everyone about you guys and I am looking forward to getting more violins in the future! I recently (December) bought a Violin from this site and have been playing it since then; I've notice a rich and mellow intonation with amazing acoustics, but I must admit this is the first Violin I've purchased. Never the less I am thoroughly satisfied with this instrument and I'll look forward to playing for the rest of my life, assuming nothing unfortunate happens to it, God forbid!
Dear Mr. Vasile and Mr. Cristian Gliga, I have just received my purchase (4/4 MAESTRO VASILEGLIGA Relief Wood Carving 'Lion' Scroll One Piece Back Violin), on October 20th 2011, in very good condition. This violin likes me very much. It appears as work of art with its perfect built and artistic carves the 'Lion' scroll. The selected pattern woods like me too. I am surprised the interesting design grains on the top wood-I did not see it exactly in the Internet. The sound of this violin fits the appearance; warm, and a bit dark, pure and juicy, deep in the G string, open in all registers. I recently sold my 4/4 violin, with I used before, and decided to buy this violin. Thank you for this instrument. This is my second 'Gliga' violin. I already had bought one on May (Antiqued 7/8 MAESTRO GLIGA VIOLIN). I use it still since May, and this instrument sounds now much better as 5 months ago. The sound is magic, sunny and round, and likes me better as more than one full size violin. I am very lucky, when I am playing it, though sometime I need a bit more power in the extreme registers. The comfort of play the 7/8 violin is a precious advantage for my small hands, short arms and fingers, and helps me to play easy and precise. Thank you for this violin too. I am going to use both my 'Gliga' violins in my artistic work in Opole Philharmonic Orchestra. I think these are two the best violins for me in my life. Thank you very much. Have a nice day.
